It seems like we've had nothing but rain for months which explains the lack of posts recently but thanks to everyone who's kept visiting the blog. The photos above are of the brook that runs under Waterside Road into the river. Fingers crossed, the colour of the water is down to iron washed down from the hills by the downpours...

There are lots of rumours going around as to what's happening with the old Liberal Club. Our favourite is that it's going to be an Italian restaurant but if anyone knows any better do let us know.

The old engine shed just visible above is close to Summerseat railway station and this picture was taken from the platform.

Victorian Lanterns is an apartment block in the village which I think also used to be a railway building in the past.
