Greenmount is a village close to Summerseat and these photos were taken yesterday when I took advantage of the good weather. I'm not sure of the history of the 'castle' but I took the photo along the Kirklees Trail which is popular with walkers, cyclists and bird watchers and follows the old railway line between Greenmount and Tottington.

The photos below of Scout Moor wind farm and Holcombe Hill were taken from Brandlesholme Road as you approach Greenmount.
